NEW Notified Bodies obtained the MDR audit qualification
Two new authorizations have been added to the EU MDR, bringing the total number of MDR Notified Bodies to 48!
From the 9th till the 10th of May 2024, MTIC InterCert S.r.l. and Kiwa Belgelendirme Hizmetleri A.S. obtained the MDR audit qualification, and now the number of MDR institutions has increased to 48.
MTIC InterCert S.r.l., Notified Body Number NB 0068, is a MDR Notified Body in Italy.
Kiwa Belgelendirme Hizmetleri A.S., Notified Body Number NB1984, is a MDR Notified Body in Turkey.
A total of 48 Notified Bodies are currently working under the EU MDR Regulation. Following this addition, the geographical breakdowns of the 48 Notified Bodies working under the EU MDR Regulation are as follows: 11 in Italy, 10 in Germany, 4 in the Netherlands, 3 in Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden, 2 in France. Furthermore, there is one in each of the following countries: Spain, Slovenia, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, Irland, Norway, Slovakia and Syprus.
